Chamomile tea – miracle tea

There is increasing interest in home, garden and kitchen remedies. One herb that deserves special attention is chamomile. The Latin name for chamomile is Matricaria chamomilla. It is a plant that in Western Europe in the wild, but often grown for tea. Usually the flowers used for tea or oil. You can use extracts of chamomile or (much cheaper) chamomile tea, whether or not prepackaged. Chamomile is truly a miracle drug that is used since antiquity and chamomile tea may be proud to bear the name miracle tea. The extracts can also be added to homemade ointments.

Chamomile tea can be drunk safely by children and pregnant women. In large quantities, you are sick of it. It also helps you fall asleep faster. Even when fatigue and panic attacks can help you tea. Chamomile supports digestion and helps with stomach cramps, digestive problems (constipation, diarrhea and flatulence).

It soothes the throat. You can gargle with it but also drink it with a spoonful of honey to enhance the effect. Headache or pain from an inflammatory chamomile tea helps too. This can also be attributed to the sedative effect, our perception of pain is different in stressful situations. It is ideal for extra moisture to get inside.

External use
Chamomile a disinfectant. You may be a few bags of tea in your bath water to attract if you suffer from hemorrhoids ( the afkuisen is (very) painful so tiny particles stool to the anus can stick and cause irritation or inflammation cause ) or if you have a fungal infection or inflammation the urine or have sex ways. You can also use the tea to disinfect wounds if you do not have at home disinfectants. Put a cup of tea you dilutes with water to lukewarm ( not hot to use! ). Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water and gently pour warm tea over. When the tea, you put the teabag on the wound and press it against the cold. The wound was disinfected and heals quickly.
With an itch you can compress of chamomile tea (or first rinse with warm tea and then builtje on the skin to cool). With eyes swollen or warm chamomile tea helps too. Put the warm tea bags on your eyes and allow them to rest.

Respiratory
You can also inhale chamomile tea. To do this you put a few bags in a bowl of warm water ( not boiling! ). Then you hang over the bowl with a towel over your head. This helps with colds and allergies.
Face Care
Chamomile tea cleanses your skin. Here I used the same technique as for inhaling. A dry (pulling), skin feels more comfortable after a gezichtsbad or rinse with chamomile.

Chamomile tea helps strengthen the hair root and hair loss. Nor will the blond hair a beautiful sheen. You can have tea after washing your hair and then pour your hair comb and let dry.

Finally
Although chamomile tea a true wonder drug, you should not overdo the use. As with everything it is important to use it in moderation and also to use other teas. Self-medication is good for acute problems, but persistent symptoms (or a worsening of symptoms) you better go to a doctor.
